Henderson & Associates and Wyith form strategic alliance

Hongkong - June 1, 2000 - Wyith Incorporated, a top
e-business solutions provider in Asia, and Henderson & Associates, the
leader in engineering and professional publishing, today
announced a strategic alliance in Asia, aiming
to bring new online events and publication-oriented
resources to over 18,000 chartered engineers in Hong Kong
with The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).
The alliance will expand both H&A and Wyith's capabilities in
the 'Distribute and Reach' aspect of both companies' business models,
respectively. The investments will also further enhance
Wyith Incorporated's growing e-Commerce service offerings.
Mr Patrick Leung, Managing Director of Henderson and Associates
Limited, said, "we recognize the power of the Internet in bringing
great benefits to the publication industry and also to the engineering
profession. The success of this effort will certainly depend on the
ability to build web sites, distribute content over trusted portals,
and develop e-business strategies to facilitate the e-commerce boom
in the field. This is why we are both focusing on making investments
to strengthen our 'Distribute and Reach' business models and working
to help the engineering profession realize its full Internet potential."
Dr Raymond Cheng, Managing Director of Wyith Incorporated, said, "The
alliance reflects the strong commitment that we have always made in the
profession. We have been working with both the public and private sectors
to develop and enhance Internet services in China since 1990.
With our strategic partner and our staff's drive and ambition, we will
continue to create exciting opportunities for the development of the
Internet and e-commerce in the field."
