Wyith announces acquisition of DomainOrbital.com, a leading Belgium-based domain registration, web hosting and design company

Gent, Belgium - Feb 7, 2002 - Wyith acquires DomainOrbital.com, a leading Belgian domain registration, web host and design company. DomainOrbital was previously a partner of Wyith Incorporated.

The all-shares transaction is the first Europe-focused acquisition by Wyith. It reinforces Wyith's leading position in Europe as an e-business strategies and solutions provider and helps extend its growing community practice.

"DomainOrbital was outstanding in Belgium's web solutions market, having started its business in early 2000 with a business model similar to Wyith's DomainAvenue.com," said Dr Raymond Cheng, Managing Director of Wyith Incorporated. "DomainOrbital has helped many of Belgium's leading portals, including infoo.be and dinner.be, bring their businesses online. Adding DomainOrbital's client base and leadership to DomainAvenue.com's regional and global footprint will further strengthen Wyith's position as a leading Internet company in the region." Over the next few months, DomainOrbital's operations and management team will merge with those of Wyith to add an extra team of design experts and top sales people to Wyith's European operations. The new team will be responsible for the launching of the various European versions of DomainAvenue.com, including Domeinlaan.com in Dutch, CalledeDominio.com in Spanish, DomainAllee.com in German, RueDomaine.com in French and ViaSettore.com in Italian.
